About Us

What we Offer

Our Mission

Located in Fort Deposit, our nonprofit organization is dedicated to serving multiple counties with the primary objective of providing access to nutritious foods through our Harvest Tyme Ministries Food Bank Distribution program. At Harvest Tyme, our team is committed to transforming food boxes into pathways to success for our community members. Allow me to elucidate: Harvest Tyme endeavors to extend a helping hand and a compassionate heart exactly where and when it is needed most. Our nonprofit not only distributes food boxes locally in Fort Deposit but also reaches far beyond our immediate area. These versatile food boxes are central to our mission, which is twofold: to supply healthier food options alongside local food processing and to offer housing, job placement services, and vocational training programs. These services cater to various demographics, including the school community, homeschoolers, and adults encountering employment obstacles. Furthermore, we have plans to facilitate vital connections between farmers and essential business resources. Our current service area encompasses Lowndes, Jefferson, Butler, Montgomery, Macon, and Tallapoosa Counties in Alabama, and we aspire to extend our reach across the entire state.

By nurturing their communicative and social capabilities, we aspire to remove obstacles that could otherwise impede their personal growth and success in various facets of life. Our ultimate aim is to equip them with the tools to live independently, responsibly, and holistically, fostering physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
